The food was great and the place was amazing. They do not take reservations and we already expected to wait to be seated. It was a 45 minute wait but we hear that's not as bad as other times. There was a beautiful garden to take pictures at while waiting. My husband got their popular steak. It was cooked to my husband's liking. It was huge and my husband finished the whole thing. I got the fish of the day in coconut cream. It was heavenly. The drinks were a little on the sweet side. Overall, we will certainly come back.

Great food and beautiful view, I make it an effort to visit every time I come to Oahu. Go there early because there will definitely be some sort of a wait but it's also the perfect time to walk down the path to the haiku garden. You'll see many plants, fish, turtles and it is a great photo opportunity. The food is good, I ordered the prime rib and it is massive, it's shareable. Add brussels sprouts, smashed potatoes, and the chips with dip and you'll be happy.

The wait times are crazy at this location but the Prime Rib is well worth it. They have a garden area you can walk around while waiting as well (I'd suggest you bring bug spray). Unfortunately due to the wait time, I missed the actual view in the restaurant so I'd suggest you go earlier in the day for the views. Prime Rib is a MUST. So worth the price and it's so much meat that it's definitely shareable. Crab Dip was okay. I'm a sucker for crab dips or any dips in general but this one needed some flavor, which was survived by Tabasco. Thai Fried Calamari was basic although the sauce was probably the only Thai thing about the dish and if you have a sweeter condiment tooth. The Kalbi in my opinion was also just basic and really salty.. but that may be the Korean in my speaking as I find all Hawaiian Kalbi overcooked and salty Baked fish was also just basic dish but a nice mixture. Lilikoi Crème Brûlée was pretty good as well but not phenomenal. Mango Margarita -- very sweet and refreshing for a hot day! NOTE: If you want the bread and guava butter, you MUST ask. They don't just serve it to you! Finally, you're really paying for the ambiance over the food unless you're getting the Prime Rib!

This restaurant is my family's favorite place to go for all occasions. Yes, the wait time can be more than an hour, so be prepared. You can always walk around and enjoy the view or do something fun like a family I saw playing Heads Up to kill time. The food prices are reasonable. We got seated around 7:30pm on a weekday and they ran out of prime rib. But there are still plenty of other options. I like the local feel of the place. They replaced some dining tables, but they are a bit short so you have to slouch and the chairs are hard, which isn't comfortable after waiting in line. Props to the service crew for being friendly. Most likely will be back soon cuz my family is loyal.
